Waterloo, Iowa (June 17, 2009) — John Deere Power Systems (JDPS) is pleased to announce two new patented PowerTech HazLoc diesel engines. Built upon John Deere's proven 8.1L platform, the PowerTech HazLoc 6081HFH70 and 6081AFH75 diesel engines have received United States Coast Guard (USCG) Marine Safety Center (MSC) certification for Class 1, Division 1 (Zone 1) Groups C & D hazardous locations. The PowerTech HazLoc electronically governed diesel engines are certified for use on board USCG–certified subchapter D & O vessels. Agco CEO “very interested” in M&A

Tractors parade across Iowa

DUBUQUE, Iowa, June 17 (UPI) -- Organizers of the 10th anniversary Great Eastern Iowa Tractorcade said a record number of tractor owners brought their farm equipment to the joyride. The organizers said 509 tractors registered for this year's 50-mile trek from the Dubuque County Fairgrounds to Dyersville, Iowa, and back again, an increase from last year's record breaking 450 tractors, the Dubuque (Iowa) Telegraph Herald reported Wednesday. The parade, which began Monday and ends Wednesday, stretched for miles. The event attracts tractor fans from across the region.
